The Customer Feedback Issue Type
The issue type Customer Feedback is used for someone to make a comment about an application. When a user submits feedback via a menu item it will automatically create an issue in our Jira with the type Customer Feedback. These issues should not be worked on until they are properly specified.
If a feedback issue is a duplicate of another issue it should be linked
as a duplicate and resolved as a duplicate with the current version as the fix version.
If a feedback issue is a defect the issue type should be converted to a Defect, estimated, and scheduled before being worked on.
If a feedback is a proper story it should be converted to a Story issue type, have Acceptance Tests added, be estimated, and scheduled before being worked on.
If a feedback issue is actually multiple stories the stories and acceptance tests should be created and the new Stories should be linked to the original issue using the "Split From" relationship. The feedback issue should be resolved as Split and placed in the current iteration.
If the feedback is invalid the issue should be resolved as invalid with a reason given in the comments. These should be resolved with the current active version as the fix version.
Issues from the a feedback issue should go through the Change Requests process.
