Metova and Ntegral Applications Launch DocNow for the iPad
DocNow offers a real-time and offline documentation tool for speech therapists, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
FRANKLIN, Tenn. July 29, 2013 — A speech therapist’s job can be as challenging as it is rewarding. A client’s road to clear, uninterrupted speech may be slow and halting, requiring the therapist to keep painstaking records to accurately evaluate the client’s progress.
With DocNow, an iPad application designed by mobile application development firm Metova and health care technology company Ntegral Applications, client documentation for speech therapists, occupational therapists and physical therapists just got that much easier.
The app assists therapists with the lengthy and tedious process of recording notes for speech, occupational and physical therapy.
Metova and Ntegral Applications recently unveiled DocNow to more than 250 special education professionals at the annual Arkansas Association of Special Education Administrators (AASEA) conference, which was held June 24 in Eureka Springs, Ark.
“Therapists who work in education have experienced increased demands around data-driven outcomes, time management and general accountability. My staff members are thrilled to have an application that will help them work smarter and more efficiently,” said Deb Swink, LEA supervisor of three school districts in Arkansas.

With DocNow, users can easily manage their caseloads on-the-go, document sessions from remote areas to save time and increase efficiency. Before DocNow, users would have to manually log information on paper during a therapy session and transfer that information into an electronic system at another time.
