NASHVILLE, Tenn. Feb. 18, 2013 – Custom mobile application developer, Metova, Inc., announced today the promotion of Ron Unger to lead developer.

Unger will continue his development work for the firm, building mobile and Web solutions for clients, as well as mentoring and giving other developers the tools they need to create valuable mobile solutions for Android, iOS, BlackBerry and Windows Phone platforms.
He joined Metova as a developer in October 2012. Prior to Metova, Unger was employed with Jacobs Technology, where he worked for three years as a senior java enterprise developer for the technology engineering service provider. With an extensive background in java, he previously worked as a java software engineer for Argon ST, Dash Navigation and Northrop Grumman.
“Since he came on board, Ron has been a valuable addition to our team,” said David Lane, vice president of technology for Metova. “His strong background in technology, along with his enthusiasm and commitment to self-improvement has led to this much-deserved promotion.”
Unger has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Auburn University.
