MyBambu provides a series of strong financial tools, including debit cards, international money transfers, cross-border payments, and check deposits, with immediate service available to those who need digital support. To prepare for a large consumer launch backed by FISGlobal, which has completed over 75 billion transactions globally, MyBambu needed to scale its operations and ensure the quality of its mobile and web applications.
Metova reviewed the source code of MyBambu’s mobile and web applications, and found the mobile code bases needed significant improvement. They created a full remediation plan, prioritizing issues, and launched the native MyBambu mobile application for iPhone and Android.
Metova conducted deep research on industry standards and competition to deliver an exceptional user experience. They mapped out user action flows, primary and secondary UX flows, and content architecture diagrams to drive the website and mobile application wire-frames.
Metova and MyBambu collaborated to define business requirement documents, leading to thoroughly written user stories. These stories translated into features for the mobile application. They coordinated with stakeholders to ensure that the designs, features, user experience, and interactions supported the vision of a top-tier banking application. Localization for Spanish and English users was also a critical factor.
Bringing a transnational banking application to market required multiple vendors and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for security and functionality. Metova ensured the technical team was familiar with each SDK’s documentation and collaborated with the leads of each SDK and third-party representatives to optimize workflow and timely implementation.
