Mobile App Developer Metova Adds Office Manager & Designer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Jan. 18, 2013 – Custom mobile app developer Metova, Inc. announced today two additions to its staff. Lauren Demain joins as office manager, and Christi Johnson joins as the firm’s newest graphic designer.


Lauren Demain

Demain moved to Nashville from Atlanta in 2006 and worked for HCA Physician Services before taking a job as a teacher at Academy of McKay’s Mill. She also previously worked as assistant director for the Academy of Cool Springs, and most recently as director for the Academy of Westhaven.

She graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s in public relations.

“Lauren has great organizational skills and excellent customer service. Her experience within the education industry overseeing daily operations will translate well into overseeing Metova’s daily ongoings,” said Dave McAllister, president.


Christi Johnson

A freelance designer, Johnson has designed identity packages, websites, logos, direct mail pieces, playbills and posters for a number of clients, including Shear Tranquility, Gaia Birth & Bodywork, Franklin Kitchen Center and Bells & Buttercups. Her identity package for Bells & Buttercups won a Nashville Advertising Federation Addy Award in 2008.

Since 2003, she has also worked as an assistant branch manager at SunTrust Bank in Franklin. She earned a bachelor’s of fine arts in graphic design from Watkins College of Art & Design.

“Christi will be joining our veteran designer Alicia Waters, and they will be responsible for developing the look and feel of our clients’ mobile applications. Christi’s extensive experience in print, Web and content design set her up to make a seamless transition into mobile,” said McAllister
