FRANKLIN, Tenn. April 25, 2013 – Officials for the custom mobile app developer, Metova announced today the hiring of Logan Gauthier and Riley Mills as developers and Chad Sawyer as a designer.
Logan Gauthier
Gauthier graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Auburn University in December. He was the lead developer for his senior design project, which was a Web application for scheduling and paying for appointments with barbershops. He also recently developed an iPhone metronome application called “ProTap.”
“Logan has hands-on experience developing iPhone applications, which makes him a great fit for Metova,” said David Lane, vice president of technology. “His education and knowledge of a variety of programming languages and techniques will be a great addition to our team.”
Riley Mills
Mills joins Metova from Modifly LLC where he worked on projects for a variety of clients, including Dell and Intel, as a lead developer. He has a bachelor’s degree in Web design from Tennessee Technological University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
“Riley is a talented Web developer, and we are excited to bring him to Metova,” Lane said. “His experience in Web development will allow him to quickly make valuable contributions to our team.”
Chad Sawyer
Sawyer has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Watkins College of Art & Design. He has been a contract graphic designer since 2005 and has completed work for several Nashville companies, including MARS, Parthenon Publishing, Healthtrust and Catapult Marketing.
“Chad is a versatile graphic designer with experience designing for companies in a variety of industries,” said Dave McAllister, president. “His familiarity with advertising, marketing, Web design and branding will make him a great addition to the Metova design team.”
