Mobile App Developer Metova Hires Sales Coordinator, Eight New Developers

FRANKLIN, Tenn. May 29, 2013 – Officials for the custom mobile app developer firm Metova announced today the hiring of Chris Wraley as sales coordinator and Shaun Brasington, Phanit Pollavith, Nick Redfoot, Ryan Dunnewold, Bradley Smith, Justin Eisenhauer, Michael Cole and Bo Malone as developers.

 

Chris Wraley

Wraley has a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Kentucky and a master’s in special education from Arizona State University. He previously worked as a teacher through the highly regarded Teach for America program. He has also served as a campus representative for The Princeton Review, experience leader for Boosterthon Enterprises and community relations coordinator for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

“Chris brings a great deal of experience in sales, marketing and leadership to Metova,” said Dave McAllister, president. “He has accomplished a lot in the last few years, and we look forward to the contributions he will make at Metova.”

 

Shaun Brasington

Brasington comes to Metova from Cayuse Technologies, where he was a senior software developer. He has also worked as a senior mobile developer for RUFUS Inc., Android developer for Google Play and CRUD developer for Chemeketa Community College. A military veteran, Brasington was a cavalry scout in the United States Army. Brasington has also guest lectured at Chemeketa Community College on Android topics. He maintained a 3.95 GPA while attending Chemeketa Community College.

“Shaun has significant experience as a developer, especially with the Android platform,” said David Lane, vice president of technology. “He also has discipline and leadership skills from his military experience. I’m confident he’ll be a great addition to our team.”

 

Phanit Pollavith

Pollavith has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of California, San Diego and a master’s degree in computer science from California State University. He has created iOS tutorials on YouTube and has developed several iOS apps, including Copart Application by Copart and iDear Diary.

“Phanit has variety of experience as a developer, as well as an excellent educational background,” Lane said. “His specialty with iOS is perfect for Metova.”

 

Nick Redfoot

Redfoot recently graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in wireless software engineering and a minor in general business. He most recently worked as an Android application developer for a startup software company in Auburn, Ala.

“Nick has a good amount of professional programming experience with the Android platform, and he has knowledge of other programming languages,” Lane said. “His education is top-notch, and we are excited to welcome Nick to Metova.”

 

Ryan Dunnewold

Dunnewold is a recent graduate of Tennessee Tech University, where he received a degree in management information systems with a minor in economics. He has had his own photography business for more than five years. He also designs websites and logos.

“Ryan brings a unique skill set to Metova,” Lane said. “He has an eye for design and business so we are confident that with our training program, he will become an excellent developer.”

 

Brad Smith

Smith has a master’s degree in software engineering and a bachelor’s degree in software engineering from Auburn University. He completed an engineering internship at Hargrove EPC.

 

Justin Eisenhauer

Eisenhauer has experience with several programming languages and designed an automated machine for the purpose of creating barstools for his senior project. He recently graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.

“Bradley and Justin have great leadership skills and are proficient programmers. They will be great addtions to the Metova team,” said Lane.

 

Mike Cole

Cole recently graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a mathematics minor. He designed and developed the Tennessee Tech Schedule app and completed a research internship at the University of Tennessee Space Institute.

“Michael has experience creating apps for Android and iOS, and those skills will be a great contribution to Metova,” Lane said.

 

Bo Malone

Malone is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in professional computer science and a minor in mathematics. He has worked as a 911 dispatcher and trainer for the Williamson County Department of Public Safety since 2006.

“Bo is familiar with a variety of programming languages and has completed several relevant projects so we expect him to make a smooth transition to Metova,” Lane said. “We’re excited to have him on the team.”
