This process is not something to be taken lightly (although our design team is quite a lively bunch). Like mad scientists, we study our craft and experiment on ways to stay ahead of the design curve. We listen intently to our clients, strategize a plan, and work closely with development to make sure the final product matches the vision.
Strategy
Designers need to learn to be selfless experts, meaning, you can’t just make whatever you want. The first step in the mobile app design process is listening to your client. Once we have a vision, the strategy and wireframing begins.
Wireframing : an important step in any screen design process. It primarily allows you to define the information hierarchy of your design, making it easier for you to plan the layout according to how you want your user to process the information.
Imagine the blank, bare structure of a house before it’s decorated. This is the foundation of our design.
Design
Time to get crafty. Once a client approves wireframes, and timeline – the designing begins. Working primarily in photoshop, we layer our already structured wireframes with color, shapes, fonts, etc. to create a beautiful design tailored to our customer’s needs. After a couple of revisions, and tweaks – your app is ready for development.
