FRANKLIN, Tenn. October 28, 2013 – Officials for the custom mobile app development firm Metova announced today the hiring of Alex Nilson as developer and Skye McCaskey as quality assurance (QA) engineer.

Nilson has a bachelor’ s degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics from the University of Idaho. He joins Metova from Cayuse Technologies, where he was a software tester and programmer. Previously, he worked as a quality assurance technician and computer operator at Smith Frozen Food, Inc.
“With a background in both QA and programming, Alex brings an impressive amount of software development skills to Metova,” said David Lane, vice president of technology. “We are excited for him to join our team of developers.”
McCaskey comes to Metova with more than nine years of technology customer support experience as an independent Apple consultant and Apple Genius. Earlier in his career, McCaskey worked as an audio engineer for numerous music studios in Nashville. He holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting with a minor in music business from Belmont University.

“Skye’s hands-on experience with Apple products and the iOS platform make him a great fit for Metova,” Lane said. “His specialized knowledge and expertise will be a great advantage for our QA team.”
